Chicago, IL – Alfie Jonesdenson Killed in Collision on E 31st St

Chicago, IL (September 9, 2020) – Two people were killed and two others injured after a car accident in Chicago on Sunday morning, September 6, at around 4:30 a.m. 

Authorities responded to the scene of the crash at the 700 block of E. 31st Street and found four people inside the crash vehicle. Initial reports revealed that the vehicle was traveling southbound when it made a lane change before striking a vehicle and colliding with a pole. 

One passenger, 25-year-old Alfie Jonesdenson, was pronounced dead at around 5:20 a.m. The driver of the car, 23-year-old Jazalyn Inayez-Mann-Calvin, of Riverdale, Illinois, was extricated from the vehicle and also pronounced dead at the scene.  

Two back-seat passengers were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries. Jonesdenson was taken to the same hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Both deceased parties were killed due to multiple injuries sustained in the accident. 

An ongoing investigation into the collision is in progress.
