Channahon, IL (September 30, 2020) – A serious collision was reported in the Channahon area on Monday night, September 28.
The collision reportedly occurred on Interstate 55 (US-6) near milepost 247 near Arsenal Road at around 7:30 p.m. Initial reports revealed that the crash resulted in confirmed injuries. Emergency responders and law enforcement officials were dispatched to the scene to assist with the accident.
The factors contributing to the crash have not been reported at this time. The northbound lanes of the highway were closed while investigators and paramedics were present. The severity and number of resulting injuries have not been made public at this time.
