Belvidere, IL (September 26, 2020) – There was a crash near a busy intersection in Belvidere Township that left three people injured on Friday, September 25.
The collision reportedly occurred near the intersection of Marengo Road and Poplar Grove Road. Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. A green utility truck reportedly was left on its side, and a dark-colored van sustained significant front-end damage. Emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident to render aid to the injured parties.
The cause of the crash is still unknown. Three people involved in the accident were transported to a hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further updates on their conditions have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
