Streamwood, IL – Shirley Stoltz Killed in Crash at IL-19 & Sutton Rd

Streamwood, IL (August 24, 2020) – An Elgin woman died two days after being involved in a collision in Streamwood on Wednesday, August 19. According to local sources, the crash occurred near the intersection of IL-19 (Irving Park Road) and Sutton Road shortly after noon. 

For unknown reasons, two vehicles collided at the intersection. 85-year-old Shirley Stoltz of Elgin, Illinois suffered injuries in the crash and was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She was later pronounced dead on Friday, August 21, at around 12:34 p.m. 

At this time, the cause of the accident is still unknown. No charges have been filed at this time. No further updates on the collision have been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials. As it continues, more details on the crash will be released.
