Elmhurst, IL (August 3, 2020) – The Illinois State Police reported a crash resulting in serious injuries in the Elmhurst area. The accident took place early Monday morning, August 3, and was reported by authorities at 8:20 a.m. The site of the crash was reportedly located near the intersection of Interstate 290 (Eisenhower Expressway) and North Avenue. 

Initial reports revealed that the accident involved two vehicles. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and local sources revealed that the injuries were serious. At this time, the factors contributing to the accident have not been disclosed by local authorities.
