Chicago, IL (August 1, 2020) – A woman was injured following a crash at an intersection in Chicago. Local sources revealed that the collision occurred in the Grand Crossing area in the city’s South Side. According to reports from local authorities, the crash took place early Friday morning, July 31.
The site of the crash was reportedly located at the 7400 block of S. Stony Island Avenue. According to reports from the Chicago Police Department, a driver ran a red light at the intersection with 74th Street at around 12:33 a.m. The driver collided with the 21-year-old woman’s car.
The injured party was transported to Jackson Park Hospital in a stable condition. She reportedly suffered neck pain and lacerations to her foot. The driver responsible for the crash was cited for multiple violations.
