Woodstock, IL – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at IL-176 & Dean St

Woodstock, IL (July 13, 2020) – A 69-year-old Genoa man was killed following a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in rural Woodstock. The accident occurred early Saturday morning, July 11, near the intersection of IL-176 and Dean Street. The deceased victim was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was ejected from his bike in the collision at around 10:30 a.m.

According to local reports, a 31-year-old DuPage County woman in a Toyota Corolla had pulled over to the side of the road to make a turn at the intersection. The motorcyclist struck the rear of the Corolla and was thrown from his bike. He was transported to a medical facility in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
