Toledo, IL (July 9, 2020) – Multiple injuries were reported following a car accident in Toledo on Friday, July 3. The crash occurred near the intersection of IL-121 and County Road 1350th East at around 10:07 p.m. Initial reports revealed that a gray 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer collided with a white 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe.
The driver of the Trailblazer, Dylan Ealy, 20, of Toledo, reportedly left the roadway, over-corrected, and crossed the centerline of the highway. His vehicle collided head-on with a Tahoe driven by Haley Honselmann, 38, of Casey Illinois. Honselmann, Easly, and a 9-year-old passenger in the Tahoe were all hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries.
Ealy was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash. Local authorities are currently investigating the crash.
