Oswego, IL – Maria Lazcano Injured in Crash on US-30

Oswego, IL (July 30, 2020) – A woman suffered injuries following a collision in Oswego. Initial reports revealed that the accident occurred on Tuesday, July 28. Officials from the Oswego Police Department were notified at around 11:55 a.m. that morning. The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in the injury of a woman from Aurora, Illinois. 

Local reports indicated that the crash occurred on Wolf’s Crossing Road near the intersection with US-30 (Lincoln Highway). According to authorities, 39-year-old Darrel D. Reyes of Morris, Illinois was driving a pickup truck northbound on Lincoln Highway at the time of the crash. Reyes rear-ended a vehicle driven by Maria E. Lazcano. Lazcano’s vehicle was reportedly traveling northbound but was stopped due to traffic on the roadway. 

Lazcano was transported to a medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash is still unknown. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway. More details will be released as it continues.
