Naperville, IL – Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Ogden Ave

Naperville, IL (July 29, 2020) – A 23-year-old man from Addison, Illinois was killed in a motorcycle accident in Naperville. According to local sources, the accident took place late on Monday night, July 27. The collision involved a motorcycle and another vehicle and took place on the east side of the city at around 6 p.m. 

Initial reports revealed that the crash involved a Nissan Sentra and a Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle. The 68-year-old Lisle man driving the Nissan was reportedly traveling west on Ogden Avenue when he made a left turn onto Naperville-Wheaton Road. The Sentra turned into the path of the eastbound motorcyclist, and both vehicles collided. 

The rider of the motorcycle was transported to a medical facility in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver of the Nissan was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn. According to local sources, the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Naperville-Wheaton Road was closed until 11:45 p.m. that evening.

No further updates are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by the Naperville Police Department.
