Harvey, IL – Young Girl Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Turlington Ave

Harvey, IL (July 5, 2020) – An eight-year-old girl was killed after being hit by a car in Harvey on Wednesday, July 1. The collision occurred at the 15400 block of Turlington Avenue. Local authorities reported that the crash occurred at around 7 p.m.

The young girl was reportedly walking a dog as she attempted to cross the roadway when she was struck. The driver of the vehicle claimed that they were unable to see the child. No further updates on the crash have been provided.

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
