Chicago, IL – One Killed in Fiery Collision at I-90 & 71st St

Chicago, IL (July 18, 2020) – There was a reported fatality following a multi-vehicle collision in the Chicago area. The crash occurred early on Friday morning, July 17. According to reports from the Illinois State Police (ISP), the accident occurred just before 4 a.m. The site of the crash was reportedly located at the intersection of Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90) and 71st Street. 

Reports from ISP revealed that one person was killed in the accident. Officials reported that two to three vehicles were involved in the collision. Emergency responders were dispatched to the site of the accident to render aid to the injured parties. One of the cars involved burst into flames during the crash, resulting in the death of the person inside. They were pronounced dead by responding paramedics. At this time, few other details on the crash are available. The cause of the collision has not yet been reported. No other injuries have been reported at this time. The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been released.

Local law enforcement officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident. No further updates are currently available.
