Chicago, IL (July 24, 2020) – There were reported injuries following a crash in Chicago. The accident reportedly occurred on the Near North Side on Thursday morning, July 23. Initial reports revealed that the collision took place on the inbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway (I-90) near the intersection with North Ogden Avenue.
Local reports from law enforcement officials revealed that the crash involved two vehicles. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided at around 8:15 a.m. Officials from the Illinois State Police and paramedics were called to the scene to assist with the accident.
One person at the site of the accident reportedly suffered injuries. The injured party was transported to St. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries, according to reports from state police. At this time, the factors contributing to the accident have not been reported. No further updates on the collision are currently available.
