Chicago, IL – Hit-&-Run with Injuries at I-290 & Damen Ave

Chicago, IL (July 6, 2020) – On Saturday, July 4, a woman was found injured after being hit by a vehicle in Chicago. The collision occurred near the intersection of I-290 and Damen Avenue. Troopers from the Illinois State Police responded to the scene at around 1:50 a.m.

The female victim was found lying on the left shoulder of the expressway. Her injuries were consistent with being struck by a vehicle. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The driver fled the scene. An ongoing investigation is being handled by ISP.
