Peru, IL – Multiple Injuries in Pileup Collision on IL-251

Peru, IL (June 16, 2020) – Two people were left injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Peru on Monday, June 15th. The collision reportedly occurred on IL-251 at around 6 p.m. At least five vehicles were involved in a crash after one vehicle collided head-on with another car.

Two people at the scene were hospitalized for treatment following the accident. No other injuries were reported. No updates on the conditions of injured parties are known at this time.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is underway.
