Naperville, IL – Woman Injured in DUI Crash on Naper Blvd

Naperville, IL (June 23, 2020) – A man in Naperville is currently facing charges for driving under the influence after a collision on Sunday, June 21st. The crash resulted in a woman from Glen Ellyn, New Jersey seriously injured. At around 7 p.m., a Honda CRV traveling south on Naper Boulevard crossed the centerline and struck a Nissan Altima travelling north.

The driver of the Honda was later identified as Bakari M. Diaby, 22. The woman driving the Nissan was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Diaby was also injured in the accident.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
