Lansing, IL – Andres Hernandez Killed in I-80 Crash

Lansing, IL (June 29, 2020) – Two men were traveling in a vehicle near Lansing when the car left the roadway and struck a pole. The accident occurred on I-80 near Torrence Avenue at around 1:45 a.m. Andres Hernandez, 23, of Northlake, Illinois was driving a black 2005 Cadillac when the driver lost control and left the interstate.

The car collided with a utility pole, killing the driver. The 23-year-old passenger in the vehicle was injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown.

An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
