Holiday Hills, IL (June 5, 2020) – A car collided with two motorcycles in Holiday Hills on Wednesday night, June 3rd. The accident left one woman dead and two others seriously injured, including a 9-year-old girl. The accident occurred near the intersection of South River Road and Sunset Drive at around 7:26 p.m.
Initial reports revealed that a 2017 Acura TLX traveling north on River Road veered into oncoming traffic and struck tow bikes, 2003 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Flat Boy Motorcycle and a 2005 Harley-Davidson Trike. The 56-year-old McHenry woman operating the 2005 Harley Davidson was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center and was later pronounced dead. The 9-year-old Louisiana girl riding on her bike was transported to Northwestern Hospital in McHenry, Illinois with serious injuries.
The 65-year-old McHenry man operating the 2003 motorcycle was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in critical condition.
Local authorities are currently investigating the accident.
