Effingham, IL (June 28, 2020) – A serious crash was reported in Effingham on Saturday afternoon, June 27. Officials from the Illinois State Police (ISP) responded to the scene of the crash on I-70. The accident occurred near mile marker 102.5

The collision involved two vehicles that collided head-on. The extent of the resulting injuries has not been reported at this time. Lanes on the roadway were diverted while investigators were at the scene.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
