Carol Stream, IL – Fatal Rear-End Crash at Bennett Dr & N Ave

Carol Stream, IL (June 13, 2020) – One person was killed following a serious collision in Carol Stream on Friday, June 12th. The accident occurred at the intersection of Bennett Drive and North Avenue just before 6:30 a.m. Initial reports revealed that an Infiniti G37X was rear-ended a Freightliner box truck traveling west on Bennett Drive.

The driver of the Infiniti was pronounced dead by responding paramedics. A passenger in the vehicle sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility. The identity of the passenger has not been revealed at this time.

Local authorities are currently investigating the incident.
