Carlinville, IL (June 1, 2020) – On Sunday afternoon, May 31st, at least one person was killed in a plane crash near Carlinville. Local authorities reported that a plane crashed in Macoupin County at around 4 p.m. Emergency units were called to the scene to render aid to those involved in the accident.

At this time, the details about the crash are limited. Local reports confirmed that one party involved was killed in the accident. The cause of the crash and the full scope of the injuries aren’t known at this time.
