Wayne Co, IL – Driver Injured in Head-On Crash on IL-15

Wayne Co, IL (May 6, 2020) – A driver suffered critical injuries following a head-on collision in Wayne County, Illinois. The accident occurred on Tuesday, May 5th, on IL-15. Authorities from the Illinois State Police were present at the scene.

For unknown reasons, one driver crossed the centerline of the highway and struck another vehicle head-on. The driver was transported by ambulance to a medical facility and later flown to a regional hospital for treatment. No further updates on the accident have been provided.

ISP is currently managing the investigation into the crash.
