Morris, IL – Rear-End Crash Injury at I-80 & Co Rd 3000 E

Morris, IL (May 29, 2020) – A driver was injured after running into a car that was left on a highway in Morris on Friday, May 22nd. The accident occurred on I-80 near County Road 3000 East (Brisbin Road). A gray Chevrolet Traverse was traveling west on I-80 when the vehicle collided with a white Toyota Paseo.

The driver of the Paseo had fled the scene of a previous crash after colliding with a white Toyota Prius 30 minutes earlier at around 10:07 p.m. The Traverse went across multiple lanes and crashed into an embankment. The driver of the Traverse was hospitalized after the crash.

An ongoing investigation into the collision is underway.
