Lincolnwood, IL – UPDATE: Thomas Pogorny Injured in Crash on Devon Ave

Lincolnwood, IL (May 14, 2020) – A Norwood Park man is currently facing charges of driving under the influence after a collision in Lincolnwood on Tuesday, May 12th. Thomas Pogorny, 25, was driving a Nissan when he made U-turn, striking a parked tractor-trailer. The collision occurred at the 4600 block of W. Devon Avenue at around 8:35 p.m.

Two other occupants of the Nissan, a 22-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, were transported to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois for treatment of serious injuries. Pogorny was also injured in the crash and later arrested by authorities. He is currently facing multiple charges.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is in progress.
