Johnson Co, IL – Tyrone Anderson Injured in Crash on I-57

Johnson Co, IL (May 18, 2020) – A single-vehicle collision in Johnson County resulted in the hospitalization of two adults and one toddler. The accident occurred at around 1 p.m. on I-57, according to the Illinois State Police (ISP). Initial reports revealed that Tyrone L. Anderson of Charleston, Missouri was driving a 2017 Dodge Journey when the vehicle left the roadway.

Anderson over-corrected and the vehicle overturned into an embankment. At the time of the crash, two other passengers were in the vehicle, Brianni M. Bonner, 23, also of Charleston and a two-year-old boy. All three were transported to a medical facility for treatment.

ISP is currently investigating the cause of the accident.

Our thoughts are with Tyrone Anderson, Brianni Bonner, the other injured victim, and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
