Johnson Co, IL (May 18, 2020) – A single-vehicle collision in Johnson County resulted in the hospitalization of two adults and one toddler. The accident occurred at around 1 p.m. on I-57, according to the Illinois State Police (ISP). Initial reports revealed that Tyrone L. Anderson of Charleston, Missouri was driving a 2017 Dodge Journey when the vehicle left the roadway.
Anderson over-corrected and the vehicle overturned into an embankment. At the time of the crash, two other passengers were in the vehicle, Brianni M. Bonner, 23, also of Charleston and a two-year-old boy. All three were transported to a medical facility for treatment.
ISP is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
