Effingham, IL (May 31, 2020) – A 26-year-old man was injured following a two-vehicle collision in Effingham on Wednesday morning, May 27th. Chase Kuhlman, 20, of Salem, Illinois reportedly crashed with another car driven by Shane Greear of Edgewood, Illinois. The accident occurred at the intersection of Banker Street and Fayette Avenue.

Officials were called to the scene of the accident at around 10:44 a.m. Greear sustained injuries and was transported to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment. At this time, no citations have been issued.

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
