Effingham, IL (May 23, 2020) – Authorities responded to the scene of a rear-end crash in Effingham on Wednesday, May 20th. The collision took place at the intersection of S. Raney Street and W. Wernsing Avenue at around 11:29 a.m. The crash reportedly involved two vehicles.

Local authorities reported that Abigale R. Horn, 24, was driving when her vehicle rear-ended another car. Horn sustained injuries in the crash but refused treatment at the scene. The driver of the other car, Logan D. Frailey, Jr., 39, Kinmundy, Illinois wasn’t injured in the crash.

An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local authorities.
