Waukegan, IL – Woman Killed in Collision at Laurel & Lewis Ave

Waukegan, IL (April 14, 2020) – A woman in her 80s was reportedly killed in a two-vehicle accident in Waukegan, Illinois on Saturday, April 11th. Local reports revealed that the woman was driving in an SUV when a collision occurred with a Chevrolet at around 6 p.m. The woman reportedly veered into the northbound lanes of traffic at the corner of Laurel and Lewis Avenues.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officials. The other driver, a Waukegan woman in her 40s, incurred injuries in the accident. The identity of those involved in the accident hasn’t been released at this time.

Local officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
