Motorcycle Accidents in Illinois

Motorcyclists are over-represented in fatal roadway crashes. Despite only accounting for 1.1 percent of reported accidents, motorcycle crashes were involved in 15.4 percent of deadly crashes in Illinois in 2017. Motorcyclists are left extremely vulnerable in the event of a crash with another vehicle.

Due to the lack of safety mechanisms provided to riders, they risk being thrown from the vehicle and suffering serious injuries. The resulting injuries can be life-changing. Injured riders should consult with a qualified Illinois motorcycle crash attorney to discuss lost compensation.
