Rockford, IL (April 5, 2020) – An overnight crash in Rockford, Illinois on Wednesday, April 1st, left one pedestrian injured. The accident occurred on Alida Street near the intersection of Halsted Road. According to officials, the driver fled the scene of the crash.

Officials found the victim lying on the roadway with visible injuries. At this time, the severity of the resulting injuries isn’t known. Officials from the Rockford Police Department were called to the scene to render aid to those injured in the accident.

The cause of the collision is currently unknown and law enforcement officials are still investigating the crash.
