Even crashes involving just a single vehicle can result in deadly injuries. Vehicles leaving the roadway is one of the leading causes of single-vehicle fatalities. In 2005, 31 percent of deadly car accidents involved ROR collisions.

When a driver loses control of their vehicle, it can be extremely dangerous. Their car risks colliding head-on with a stationary object, such as a tree or even another vehicle. When a victim is killed in such a crash, surviving family members are left to suffer.
