Rear-End Accidents in Illinois

Rear-end crashes are some of the most common, accounting for nearly 28 percent of reported accidents each year. These crashes are often caused by drivers who fail to notice the car ahead of them has come to a stop. Victims of these accidents often suffer from serious spine or neck injuries.

In most cases, these accidents are the fault of the driver who struck the vehicle from behind. However, there are certain situations where the driver ahead may share partial blame. Injured parties can recover lost compensation with the help of a qualified Illinois car crash attorney.
