Rear-End Crashes in Illinois

Rear-end collisions can happen due to a brief miscalculation. A driver will often fail to notice that a vehicle ahead is coming to a stop or slowing down, resulting in a crash. This is extremely common, and rear-end accidents account for nearly 28 percent of reported crashes each year.

Those involved in rear-end crashes risk suffering injuries to their neck or spine. In some cases, the driver that struck the vehicle isn’t at fault. An experienced Illinois car crash attorney can help injured parties determine who is liable for their injuries.
