Riding a motorcycle is a wonderful pastime, but those who ride are all too familiar with the risks associated with riding a bike. Riders are 27 times more likely to suffer fatal injuries in the event of a crash. Thousands of motorcyclists are killed in collisions each year, accounting for 15.4 percent of traffic fatalities in Illinois in 2017.

Statistics show that motor vehicle drivers are more likely to cause serious motorcycle accidents. These cases involve extensive investigation in order to determine who is at fault. Injured parties should reach out to a qualified Illinois motorcycle crash attorney to discuss their legal options.
