Rockford, IL – 3 Injured in Rollover on Winnebago St

Rockford, IL (March 19, 2020) – Three people were injured in a crash on early Saturday morning, March 14th, in Rockford, Illinois. A rollover accident was reported at the 900 block of South Winnebago Street. Officials arrived at the scene at around 12 a.m.

Initial reports revealed that southbound Ford Focus left the roadway and hit a tree. At this time, it’s unknown why the vehicle left the road. Two men and one woman were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment after the crash.

One man reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries. The Rockford Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
