Illinois DUI Collisions
We all know that drunk driving is dangerous, but even still, many drivers get behind the wheel while intoxicated. Drinking and driving don’t mix, and the combination is often deadly. Intoxicated motorists are less equipped to make sound judgments behind the wheel.
According to the Illinois Secretary of State, there were 330 reported alcohol-related fatalities in the state in 2017. This figure accounts for 30 percent of the state’s roadway fatalities that year. In some cases, injured parties can consult with a qualified Illinois DUI crash attorney to pursue lost compensation.
