Hanover Park, IL (March 28, 2020) – On Tuesday, March 24th, a man was killed in a pedestrian crash in Hanover Park, Illinois. Authorities reported that the crash occurred at the intersection of East Avenue and Irving Park Road (IL-19) at around 11:20 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene to render aid to those involved.

Chetankumar Patel, 46, of Streamwood, Illinois was pronounced dead at around 11:50 p.m. At this time, the cause of the crash is currently unknown. No other details have been made public at this time.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
