Rollovers often result in severe to life-threatening injuries. These crashes involve a vehicle totally overturning, often traveling at high rates of speed. The ensuing injuries can be magnified if the victim is ejected from the vehicle entirely.

Each year, an estimated 35 percent of passenger-vehicle deaths involve rollover crashes. 69 percent of those killed in rollovers were unrestrained at the time of impact. In some cases, a reckless driver can be held accountable for resulting injuries.
