Chicago, IL – 2 Children Critically Injured at Nelson St & Laramie Ave

Chicago, IL (March 6, 2020) – Several people were injured in a collision in Chicago early Friday morning, March 6th, including two children. The accident took place at the corner of Nelson Street and Laramie Avenue. Emergency personnel responded to the scene at around 7:45 p.m. 

Two children were taken to Lurie’s Children Hospital in critical condition. Four adults were transported to First Community Hospital, and another adult was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. The crash site has been cleared at this time.

No further information was released. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
