Calumet City, IL – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Wentworth Ave

Calumet City, IL (March 10, 2020) – A man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Calumet City, Illinois on Monday afternoon, March 9th. Authorities reported that the accident occurred at around 3:12 p.m. at the 1000 block of Wentworth Avenue. Officers with the Calumet City Police Department found Tarone Conway, 20, lying on the roadway. 

Conway was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s autopsy revealed he died due to multiple injuries suffered in the accident. The factors contributing to the collision haven’t been disclosed.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
