More than any other kind of collision, rear-end crashes are the most commonly reported accident in the United States. 28 percent of all roadway accidents involve rear-end impacts. These crashes are known to cause serious and life-threatening injuries.

In most cases, fault in a rear-end accident lies with the driver who struck the other vehicle. However, that’s not always the case. A skilled Illinois car crash attorney can help injured parties determine who is liable for their injuries.
