Schiller Park, IL (February 26, 2020) – Local authorities in Schiller Park, Illinois responded to the scene of a deadly pedestrian accident. The crash occurred on Tuesday, February 25th, early in the morning. Initial reports revealed that the woman was struck on Irving Park Road, near 25th Avenue to Old River Road. 

Local sources reported at 11:17 a.m. that the woman was hit once and then again by another vehicle. The second vehicle, believed to be a semi-truck, fled the scene. The first driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The Chicago Police Department is conducting an investigation into the accident at this time.
