Rockford, IL (February 7, 2020) – There were multiple injuries reported following a crash on Wednesday afternoon, January 5th, in Rockford, Illinois. The site of the accident was at the intersection of North Rockton Avenue and West Jefferson Street. The crash took place at around 12:30 p.m. 

One of the injured parties had to be extricated from their vehicle by responding emergency personnel. A fire hydrant was struck and knocked over during the crash. Multiple parties were injured in the crash, according to local news sources.

The identities of those injured in the accident have been withheld. An investigation into the crash is currently being managed by the Rockford Police Department.
