Deadly Pedestrian Crashes in Illinois

When a pedestrian is struck by a motor vehicle, there is little protecting them from the full impact of the crash. When these accidents happen at highway speeds, the results can be deadly. Sadly, many pedestrians lose their lives in car crashes each year.

In 2012 alone, 139 pedestrians were killed in crashes in Illinois. Thousands more were severely injured. In some cases, surviving family members can recover lost compensation with the help of an Illinois pedestrian injury lawyer.
