Libertyville, IL – 1 Killed, 1 Injured in Rollover on I-94

Libertyville, IL (February 1, 2020) – A crash involving an SUV and a tractor-trailer in Libertyville, Illinois, killed one and left another injured early Friday morning, January 31st. Initial reports revealed that a female driving a BMW SUV lost control of the vehicle at around 2:13 a.m. on I-94 near IL-176. The SUV struck a semi-truck traveling westbound on the interstate.

The BMW rolled over multiple times, causing the unrestrained driver to be ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Three male passengers were in the vehicle, and one was hospitalized.

The identities of the victims haven’t been released. An ongoing investigation into the crash at this time.
