Deadly Chicago Car Crashes

The aftermath of a tragic car accident can be devastating for both victims and their families. In 2017, there were 998 fatal crashes reported in Illinois, accounting for less than 1 percent of collisions. 21.5 percent of collisions that year resulted in injury.

Families often have to take on the damages associated with a deadly accident. No one is ever prepared to take on these costs, including medical coverage, funeral expenses, and more. In some cases, surviving family members can consult with an Illinois wrongful death lawyer to pursue lost compensation.
