Illinois Red-Light Accidents
Tens of thousands of people are injured each year due to red-light runners. In 2017, 890 people were killed in red-light collisions in the United States. More than half of those fatalities were pedestrians or cyclists.
Traffic signals are meant to keep everyone on the road safe. However, many drivers fail to obey these signals, causing serious collisions throughout the state of Illinois. Reckless drivers such as these can be held responsible with the help of an Illinois car crash attorney.
