White Co, IL – Multiple Injuries After Multi-Car Accident On IL-1

White County, IL (December 16, 2019) – There was a crash involving four-vehicles reported in White County, Illinois on Sunday evening, December 15th. The crash occurred at around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of IL-1 and White County Road. There were reported injuries following the accident.

According to initial reports, a Kia veered into oncoming traffic on IL-1, colliding with a Dodge van. The van went off-road and the Kia was disabled upon impact. Two subsequent vehicles struck the disabled Kia, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.

The injured parties were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment. An investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
