Semi-Truck Accidents in Illinois
Crashes involving semi-trucks often result in serious injuries. The sheer size and weight of these vehicles can make these collisions catastrophic for those involved. An estimated 5,000 people each year are killed in semi-truck collisions.
The braking capability of semi-trucks can be a factor in serious crashes. These vehicles require massive amounts of room to come to a stop. During inclement weather conditions, these vehicles can cause serious injuries to their drivers and others on the road.
