Pedestrian Accidents in Illinois
It is a sad fact that pedestrians are often severely injured when involved in accidents with motor vehicles. While vehicle occupants have the frames of their car protecting them, pedestrians have little protecting them from the full force of impact. Sadly, many pedestrians sustain fatal injuries in these accidents.
Pedestrian fatality rates have been on the rise in recent years. On average, a pedestrian is injured every 88 minutes. The victim’s surviving family members may be eligible to recover compensation by calling an Illinois pedestrian injury lawyer.
